Preparation Instructions |
Recipe suggestion for one cake: you will also need: 90ml vegetable oil (6tbsp), 180ml water, 3 medium free range eggs, 1 tub of Betty Crocker Vanilla Style Icing, Strawberry Jam, 2 x 8 inch well-greased cake tins Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees (160 degrees for fan assisted) 1. Mix eggs, oil, water and cake mix gently together and whisk (by hand or electric mixer) for 2-3 minutes until smooth and creamy 2. Pour the cake mixture evenly into your two greased cake tins 3. bake in the centre of the oven for 22-27 minutes, or until a rounded knife inserted in the centre comes out clean. then cool on a wire rack. Sandwich your cakes together with a layer of the icing and a layer of strawberry jam. Then cover with lashings of Betty Crocker Icing |
